Founded in 2016 as the The Zine Collection—“Minicomic” was added to the name in 2024—the ZMC has been highlighting these distinct forms of self-publishing for a decade. The collection has over 600 zines and comics and continues to grow each year.
Want to learn more about the ZMC or about zines in general? Check out our research guide, Zines at SLPL. If you’re interested in donating zines to the collection, please read our Donation info page first.
